I like using the Maria Thun almanac because it’s easy to see best planting times. I also like having the pullout calendar to put on my fridge. The color coding is helpful as well.

been using it for 20(?) years now. it's the daily guide and first go-to source for all things gardening. if the answer isn't found there (but it usually is), then other resources are used for research.

Second year I’m getting this informative and helpful book!

This looks like an amazing piece of work and I am so grateful to begin to enter into it. As I intuit the biodynamic practices, I do not understand a lot of the anthroposophical language. I am so new at exploring intellectually the planetary influences and look forward to that exploration. I may call the Josephine Porter Center in near future and ask if anyone may be able to help me interpret a date on this almanac and that would give me a start. Thank you for all you offer.

A great companion to the Stella Natura calendar that I can take out in the field and make notes. Love the addition of suggestions on when to, for example, pick dandelions for prep making or what work to do with bees and pest control. Also appreciate the pages in the back on crop tables, plant teas, preparations, etc. Highly recommended.
