One quart when diluted will yield spray for 6–8 trees.
Application:
As a paste:
Apply to trunk and major limbs with a whitewash brush or apply by hand (heavy-duty rubber gloves recommended). If necessary, dilute with water to the consistency of thick paint for brush application.
As a spray:
Dilute 1 cup in 1 gal of water.
Stir for 20 minutes.
Screen through 50–60 mesh screen or paint strainer for sprayer application.
Spray immediately after stirring, because the contents settle quickly.
Tips:
Remove loose bark from trunk and major limbs, using a wire brush or scraping tool.
Do not apply when rain is expected; rain may wash tree paste off.
