Another year with the Stella Natura calendar to guide us

Our family enjoys the knowledge that the Stella Natura calendar provides year after year. It helps us in our daily lives as well as in the garden. The stories written within are always a treat. Thank you JPI for carrying this calendar. We received it quickly and in perfect condition at a reasonable price. We look forward to the new one each year as a way for our family to be reminded of the connection we have with the universe at large. Thanks again!

Planting by the enemies of our Universe

I started using this calendar in the early 20’s. My germination rates and crop success improved dramatically.

Moon not stars

I don’t follow the Thun scheme. Air and Water element signs were switched by error in 9th century. Research (and my own) doesn’t bear out. I do feel there are lunar influences.

Why is this a one-star review? We're sorry you were disappointed with your order. Let us know how we can help

Excellent

Merci Infiniment

I did like each and every page of this highly ethical and somewhat simple 2025 Stella Natura Biodynamic Planting Calendar !
It is a true pleasure to sit back and read the impressive and beautiful names of our stars here in the northern hemisphere on the double paged chart towards the end of the calendar !

2025 Stella Natura Biiodynamic Planting Calendars (2)

Hello, Sorry, I am still waiting for my calendars - it was, on Jan. 15th in Pearson Airport in Toronto and is said to be in transit since then - there are no updates after landing in Canada (from Chicago). There probably are delays still due to the month-long postal strike which ended in Canada on Dec. 16. 2024. I keep watching for the delivery. I have ordered 2 calendars as usual - one for my neighbor who has an organic farm. I don't think she will be seeding just now as we are here in mid-winter conditions. Thanks for keeping in touch. Sharon

Stella Natura Calendar

I have used this calendar for a number of years, and try to schedule my plantings accordingly. The phases of the sun and stars are helpful to have, along with a way to record temperature and climactic conditions. It is one of the few paper based tools I use now.

All-around guide and calendar

I really like the format of the Stella Natura planting calendar. It’s a calendar, a weekly planting calendar, a good article every month,
everyday spot for notes about your garden or life, a way to learn about biodynamics and the influences. It’s an all-around guide and calendar that gets you more in tune with
nature and our universe.

Description

2027 edition available. Select the calendar year you need before ordering. Earlier editions remain listed separately in the year selector.

The Stella Natura calendar offers advice for when to sow seeds and cultivate garden and farm crops to enhance their roots, flowers, leaves or fruits. This is based on the Moon’s passage through the constellations of the zodiac. Unfavorable times for sowing are also indicated, to help avoid those inexplicable crop failures.

This Calendar has many aspects: a basic introduction to astronomy, a simple ephemeris, a planting guide, a star map, aid for following the movement of the planets in the night sky, and articles by ten different authors. All of these attempt to provide a true picture of the world outside us and ideas to assist in developing a healthy relation to that world.

Published by Spikenard Farm Honeybee Sanctuary, Stella Natura continues to bring insightful articles, beautiful artwork, and monthly charts to gardeners and growers across its annual editions.  Stella Natura draws on the work of Rudolf Steiner, Lilly Kolisko, Maria Thun, Sherry Wildfeuer, and other contemporary pioneers of this work whose original research underlies the indications that are given for what to plant when.  We are also actively fostering a community of living research for the continued development of this work to help shine light on the many questions which remain as opportunities to further this science of the stars which is both ancient and in need of renewal.
