What is included in the Barrel Compound (Barrel Compost) double-batch kit?

Barrel Compound (BC) is JPI’s U.S. product name for Barrel Compost. This kit supplies ingredients for a double batch: two each of BD 502, 503, 504, 505, 506, and 507 Valerian; two 500 g basalt packs; and two 100 g finely crushed eggshell packs. Manure is not included.
How much manure is required for the BC Kit?

This double-batch kit requires 25 gallons of manure, or five 5-gallon buckets.
Is the Biodynamic Barrel Compound Kit suitable for large areas?

Yes. JPI presents this kit for gatherings and larger acreages. It provides the preparation ingredients for a double batch made with 25 gallons of manure supplied by the grower; it does not contain finished Barrel Compound.
Who supplies the manure for the double-batch kit?

You supply 25 gallons of manure for the double batch; biodynamic or organic manure from pastured cattle is preferred.
