Fíorscéal duaiseach faoi thuras ratha, trioblóide, teipe agus athbhreithe laoch an fheirmeora Meiriceánaigh tríú glúin John Peterson. Is fíor-bhun-scéal Meiriceánach é Peterson. Tá a scéal cosúil le scéal na feirme teaghlaigh i Meiriceá an 20ú haois. Is é an rud a fhágann go bhfuil The Real Dirt ar Farmer John chomh speisialta ná nach feirmeoir amháin é John Peterson....is ealaíontóir é freisin.

Áirítear Físeán Ceoil Farmer John, Gailearaí Grianghraf, Oidis ó leabhar cócaireachta Farmer John agus eolas ar fheirmeoireacht orgánach, CSAanna agus tuilleadh.
