Threefolding as a Path for Peace brings together Dr. Friedrich Glasl and Gerald Häfner for a discussion of social threefolding, the causes of conflict, and practical ways individuals and civil society can work for peace. This is a Baumheier Global Threefolding Conference, organized by the Global Threefolders planning group.

Time and program

The main conference runs from 10 a.m.–1 p.m. Pacific Standard Time / 1–4 p.m. Eastern Standard Time / 7–10 p.m. Central European Time. An optional planning session follows for 30 minutes, ending at 1:30 p.m. Pacific / 4:30 p.m. Eastern / 10:30 p.m. Central European Time.

The first part examines the relationship between economic and political power, conflict escalation, and the importance of independent legal and economic areas. Presentations are followed by small-group discussion and questions.

The second part begins at approximately 11:50 a.m. Pacific / 2:50 p.m. Eastern / 8:50 p.m. Central European Time, with the announcement of the Baumheier Award. Speakers and participants will consider ways to act for peace, civil society's role, international arbitration, and the potential of neutral states.

The optional final session introduces the Day of Threefolding on June 27, 2027, with breakout discussions about possible initiatives.
