## At a Glance:

**What it does:**  
Helps the compost attract trace elements from the surrounding soil environment.

**How to use:**  
Use the finished preparation as part of a complete BD 502–507 set. Make six holes evenly across the compost pile and place this unit into one of the first five holes, about halfway down the pile. Close the hole with old compost or good soil so no air pocket remains. One complete set treats up to 15 tons of compost; use the full set on smaller piles also.

Yarrow blossoms (_Achillea millefolium_), water.
