If this is your first order of the biodynamic preparations, for maximum effectiveness we recommend that you use BD #502-507 before applying BD #500 or BD #501.

There are several ways to do this:

1. Make compost with either a SET of the compost preparations, BD #502-507 or the Pfeiffer BD Compost Starter.

2. If you do not want to wait until the compost is ready to apply, use the BC (Biodynamic Compound Preparation (aka Thun Barrel Compost). This is a twenty minute stir versus the one hour for the BD #500 or BD #501.

3. Apply the Pfeiffer BD Field & Garden Spray (contains BD #500 and the BD #502-507 and does not requite stirring).

4. Apply the "Prepared" 500. (Contains BD #500 and BD #502-507. One hour stirring required).
